Stagiaire Postdoctorale
Laurence Chouinard-Gaouette holds a PhD in Psychology (Intervention and Research), obtained in 2025 from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. Her doctoral work relied on a quasi-experimental neuroscience approach to examine the neurocognitive correlates underlying the links between reasoning, working memory, attention, and intrusive memories of an emotional laboratory event. She is a clinical pediatric neuropsychologist in Quebec’s public services and a postdoctoral researcher at the CERVO Brain Research Centre. Her research within the PSYCAVI Observatory focuses on the relationships between trauma exposure, post-traumatic symptomatology, and cognitive functioning.
