We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow to contribute to the analysis of quantitative data. The Observatory has already collected a substantial amount of data through longitudinal studies conducted with African populations, including several in contexts affected by armed conflict. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a strong interest in maximizing the scientific value of these datasets in collaboration with other researchers involved in the project.

To apply, candidates must:

• Hold a PhD in a relevant discipline;
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in the R programming language and the ecosystem of tools required for data management, processing, and analysis, in full compliance with open science standards (reproducibility, FAIR principles);
• Have research expertise in a field related to psychological health in the context of armed conflicts or mass violence;
• Have authored at least two scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals and possess excellent scientific writing, synthesis, and critical analysis skills.
