A new local coordinator for the Kigali branch

We are pleased to announce the arrival of Jean-Bertrand Mwumvaneza as the new local coordinator of the Kigali branch. He will play a key role in supporting research projects through regional stakeholder engagement, knowledge mobilization, administrative and logistical coordination, ethical oversight, and supervision of field investigators.

We would also like to extend our warm thanks to Françoise Uwera, who has held this position since the launch of the Observatory. Her contribution has been invaluable, and we wish her every success in her new role.
