Autobiographical Memories in Rwanda

In this new research snapshot, the Psycavi Observatory team gives you a glimpse into autobiographical memory in the Rwandan context. The way humans recall traumatic events from their past has already been the subject of several studies, but few have been conducted outside the West. In this study produced 30 years after the Genocide against the Tutsi of Rwanda, Professor Anna Blumenthal and her colleagues examine the structure of autobiographical memory and demonstrate, among other things, that it is rich in episodic details.
